A heated debate has sparked up on social media over Alpha Hour after a photo taken from the control room of the popular prayer program surfaced on social media.
The photo shows the so-called ‘control room’ of Alpha Hour where thousands of cedis had been gathered, ready to be bagged, and deposited into the accounts of Pastor Elvis Agyemang.
A social media user shared the photo and added a caption that sparked an online debate.
He wrote: “This is Alpha Hour financial control room. You see how the man dey cash out??? Now he prays for you for God to answer your prayers but you niqqas are actually answering his prayer…. Do you see the counting machines???? scam of the century 😔😔😔 Bibini tweeaaaaa,”
His caption has unsurprisingly sparked wild debate.
Whilst Christians say they should be left alone to dole out their cash as they see fit, others agreed that the whole Alpha Hour enterprise is a scam.
The fact is, no matter how you slice it, pastors have been getting rich for years and the people giving them money remain poor and desperate and give them more of their money.
So, this gentleman is more right than wrong but of course, we can never expect Ghanaians to see an issue as logic rather than emotion!
