Minister Of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah & Team Stop A Live TV Program & Demanded To Use Studio – A Demonstration Of Nana Addo’s Abuse Of Power Governance.
Information reaching nsemka.com indicates that this morning 28th April 2021 around 8:am, a progressing live discussion on ObonuTV, designed to talk about issues relating to challenges confronting the peaceful coexistence of the Ga Dambge was suddenly interrupted and stopped when the minister of information and a team stormed the TV station and demanded with authority to use the studio.
According to eyewitnesses, the action was shocking and absurd simply because before a program goes live on air, so many arrangements go into it. This includes discussion line ups, questions to be asked, the hustle to put together resource persons and the headaches in convincing them to agree to be on the show, including sponsorships. An insider at ObonuTV confessed this situation has never happened at the station and he expressed his bitter disappointment in the minister of information for abusing his position.
Nsemka.com discovered that the minister of information and his team were originally supposed to be at GBC’s studios for a live discussion show but for whatever reason yet not known to nsemka.com, the team diverted their route to ObonuTV and not only ordered for whatever show going on to be cancelled, took over the studio but also instructed the technicians to transmit their (the minister of information and his team) discussions onto GBC network…
Does the minister of information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, in his capacity as a minister of state has the right or authority to storm a TV station without prior notice, not even a phone call, cancel whatever live show was in progress, take over the studio and order technicians to broadcast his show to another network just like that? When will such nonsense and absurd abuse of power in Ghana stop?
The greater the power, the more dangerous the abuse. …It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong. A fondness for power is implanted in most men, and it is natural to abuse it when acquired?
