CHRISTMAS is just around the corner and as usual, Accra will burst at her seams with events as Ghana has gradually become the go-to hotspot to celebrate the holiday season.
But this time around, some event organizers have decided to relieve the nation’s capital of the load by moving some of the fun events to other parts of the country.
One such event is the maiden edition of Riverfest22-themed The Ada Calypso which comes off at Camp Tsetse Resort in Ada from Friday, December 16 to Sunday, December 18.
The three-day event which is part of the official calendar of activities for this year’s December in GH promises revelers nothing but a good feel of fun, recreational activities, beautiful sights, and of course, a cozy place for relaxation.
RiverFest22 has been established as an annual festival designed to create a platform to network, celebrate and propagate the socioeconomic and cultural affairs of Ghana.
According to organizers, it is expected to be an event of choice for both Ghanaians and those in the Diaspora who are in search of a new and different experience from ‘noisy’ Accra during the festivities.
In a chat with Graphic Showbiz, Nana Yaw Wiredu, Media Liaison for Riverfest22 said the festival will certainly provide the best getaway experience with luxury and comfort.
It is designed to have an action-packed program of activities with exciting exhibitions of talents and products from vendors.
“This festival was carefully planned to give the best of entertainment to revelers. With that in mind, The Camp Tsetse Resort was selected as the ideal place to host it. The resort has an amazing view of the banks of the Volta River and guests are definitely going to enjoy it.
“I can assure patrons that it will be an experience of unadulterated fun from the moment they step at the venue. Come join the fun with boat rides, jet skiing, games, competitions, pool parties, music, and a Caribbean vibe with a taste of Calypso music in Ghana”, he said.
