The history of High Life in Ghana is not an easy story to either rap with or just narrate a simple story because the history is painful,Bra Dondo insists.
High Life, being the main major culture and the lifeline of Ghanian music has yet to see those explosive music festivals that rock the entertainment arena of other parts of the world.
Many are those who have accused the Ghanaian local artists and the nationally recognized music body that governs Ghanaian musicians for their failure to raise the standard of Ghanaian high life, create tourism attraction from it to generate some revenue for the tourism sector.
In recent years, the music genre in Ghana has seen a massive introduction of brilliant mixed up rhythmic concepts from talented fast-rising artists and one that I have personally single out from the lot is Bra Dondo, a unique up and coming music brand to be reckoned with.
Bra Dondo, born in Larteh Akuapem in the Eastern Region of Ghana where he started his primary education, Frank Owusu Appiah, known on stage as Bra Dondo is a young talented highlife musician and an entrepreneur.
Bra Dondo has showcased his musical prowess to the world with outstanding musical performances.
He is the CEO of Dondo Family Muzik (DFM) and is known for several songs including Yaa Mansa, Hustlers Anthem, Afrodisiac, Yentem which features Tee Rhyme, and many others.
He has two albums to his credit dubbed “DIPLOMA” and “EMOTIONS” which contains eighteen songs and twelve songs respectively.
He believes music is the mouthpiece of his soul, therefore he channels his energy to disseminate information to all his listeners.
Bra Dondo doubles up as a producer who started producing music at an early age and has since been the producer of most of his creative pieces.
