Critical analysis of definitions of herbal medicine and spiritual healing shows a broad range of characteristics and elements that make the two interwoven and therefore hardly distinguished from each other. As such, there has been no standard definition for spiritual healing and herbal medicine as both terms can refer to widely varying practices, and there are many ways in which they overlap.
